Liam Payne's most mortifying fan experience happened on a beach in Australia! The One Directionsinger told Nova 96.9’s Fitzy and Wippa that he got stage fright from so many fans watching him.

“We went to the beach and it was so nice and peaceful and then we turned around and literally there were 800 people on the beach. I got stage fright! I was a bit scared.”

He says that he used to want to move to Australia, but his crazy fan experiences have made him reconsider a bit!

“I always thought Australia would be somewhere that I’d move to,” he said. “But then when I first got to Australia I didn’t expect it to be as crazy as it was.”

Since it's also the country where a girl stole his boxers, we can understand that he felt a little weird.
