Top 10 world cup players

Top 10 world cup players

1. Lionel Messi, forward, Argentina
Messi goes into the tournament in a very unfamiliar frame of mind, without a major piece of silverware from Barcelona's season for the first time in years. But paradoxically he has a better chance than ever of achieving the success with Argentina that it's long been suggested he needs to achieve true greatness, floating behind Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain in a rampant-looking attack. If Messi isn't too fatigued, he can inspire something special.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo, forward, Portugal
The bad news: Portugal's hopes of making an impression in Brazil lie squarely on one pair of shoulders. The good news: those shoulders belong to a figure who just loves being at the centre of the universe. Ronaldo's performances in the qualifying campaign were incredible, including a play-off hat-trick against Sweden. After finishing the season as Europe's joint leading scorer, you wouldn't bet against Ronaldo using that as motivation to ensure he shines on his own under the global spotlight.

3. Luis Suarez, forward, Uruguay
After a year in which he got his teeth into Liverpool's cause in all the right ways, Suarez was a man at the peak of his powers before suffering a knee injury that has his tournament in some doubt. If his history of controversies suggests his temperament will never be utterly trustworthy, the influence of Reds boss Brendan Rodgers and Suarez's wife Sofia Balbi seem to have made him happier and calmer _ spelling bad news for EPL defences and possibly others in Brazil. Uruguay aim to go better the semifinals of 2010, and Suarez is the central figure in that plan.

4. Franck Ribery, winger, France
Bayern Munich fans have a term for the sheer number of times that Ribery or Arjen Robben are injured or out of sorts - they call it robbery - but the French winger's collapse in form in recent months is seriously worrying his French teammates. With former French stars criticising his lack of leadership and goals, Ribery badly needs to make a better impression in Brazil to avoid perceptions that, at 31, his slide is irreversible.

5. Andres Iniesta, midfielder, Spain
As his hairline recedes in contrast to his list of personal honours, Iniesta's challenge at this World Cup mirrors that of the country to whom he has helped to bring so much success in recent years. The trouble with standing at the top of the world is finding a pathway that doesn't lead downwards; after Barcelona's season to forget, will he and Spain still have the hunger and drive to secure yet another major trophy?

6. Neymar, forward, Brazil
Neymar's ability to beat a defender in a one-on-one situation is phenomenal. He also has pace to burn, an asset best used when he's out wide in attack. At just 18, he scored in his senior debut for Brazil and a year later he was named the South American footballer of the year.

7. Yaya Toure, midfielder, Ivory Coast
Toure is arguably the world's most valuable player and could be in the shop window after a strange falling out with Manchester City. A box-to-box midfielder, Toure can score goals, create opportunities, defend superbly and run for 90 minutes. He is a three-time African footballer of the year, has won domestic titles in England, Spain and Greece, and was part of the Barcelona team which won the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup in 2009.

8. Arjen Robben, winger, Netherlands
Robben has a brilliant burst of pace and can destroy teams from the right wing, particularly when he cuts inside to use his favoured left foot. The Dutchman was named man-of-the-match in the 2013 UEFA Champions League final after starring for Bayern Munich in their 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

9. Eden Hazard, midfielder, Belgium

Hazard is creative, has pace and is a standout dribbler, as so many defences have found out during his club stints with Lille and Chelsea, and internationally with Belgium. He has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo but feels he's more like Lionel Messi. He made his senior debut for Belgium at just 17 and was this season named the English PFA's young player of the year.

10. Sergio Aguero, forward, Argentina
Aguero's balance is superb, largely thanks to his low centre of gravity. He can play in a variety of roles in attack and has an incredible burst of speed over a couple of metres that often leaves defenders floundering. He will always be remembered for scoring the stoppage-time goal on the last day of the 2011-12 Premier League season that secured Manchester City their first title in 44 years.

play with colors this spring and summer!

Colors to Wear for Spring and Summer 2014

Burnt Orange:

burnt orange looks very amazing  and the color pairings for Burnt Orange are Navy, White and Brown (any variation).  It gives a warm, festive pop to any outfit.

I also included Burnt Orange with a classic black  striped pattern.

Burnt Orange can be a great accent to any patterned piece you have for example a jacket

Pastel Colors: Mint, Lilac and light blue:

Nothing says “Spring” more than pastel colors
The most obvious (and flattering) for each color is to stick to one of the other colors (so pairing lilac and mint together)
or to use some of the Spring Neutrals (browns and white).Pair your pastel with the same color, only a few shades darker!

 White:

This season still has many of the colorblocked, “extreme” pairing of White + Black (it’s in patterns or solids). But also look for head-to-toe white looks (shirts + pants)

Yellow:

One of the easiest colors to look at and provides you with energy and joy you need on a grey day. you should wear yellow with combination of white, black or grey it will look more amazing .A great summer color that inspires happiness and intellectual energy, yellow is the color of joy

Purple:

Wearing the color purple is a sign of royalty, taken from years ago when the throne member’s wardrobes were composed mainly of this color. It also denotes magic and mystery when worn. girls  can also try a purple top with intriguing sleeves to make casual summer pants more interesting.

Short story If You Have Nothing Good to Say

If You Have Nothing Good to Say:

You may have recognized I have been composing less starting late. Maybe the most ideal approach to clarify this is by reference to that well known exhortation your mother may have provided for you: "on the off chance that you don't have anything great or positive to say, don't say anything."

The previous month I have felt uninspired to compose – there is no other approach to say it truly. In inspecting why this is the situation, I can distinguish 3 elements that have prompted me falling into a groove: (1) post occasion soul (2) a developing disappointment with my work circumstance; and (3) in the wake of being here in Islamabad for 10 months, pining to go home at last raising its revolting head.

So then, you may be asking why I am composing this article. It has scarcely been moving and positive so f
I figure it is on the grounds that right now I feel great. Not in the typical sense however…  if anything today has been a shambles so far and I ought to feel the inverse. I got up on different events the previous evening to go to my child, which prompted me turning off my alert and resting in. I skipped breakfast (without precedent for years I think… ), ran for the transport and used the greater part of the 1+ hour drive feeling like a sardine. Also after this I landed at work late.

So why the blazes do I feel great?

I figure it is on the grounds that at this time I feel an inward determination in me that has been absent for as long as month or somewhere in the vicinity. Truth be told, I would stand up in comparison this inclination to how I felt in 2006 when I at last said "that is sufficient" and began to roll out real improvements to how I was carrying on with my life. It is very nearly as though a switch has been flicked, and I have chosen to by and by put my active the guiding wheel of my life and take control of its course.

In spite of my terrible begin to the morning, the day has since been what I would depict as an "Undertaking Kill Day", ie a days where you are in the zone and simply accomplish things. I have made some real progress on a work extend that I have been taking a shot at for weeks, I have at last completed some little assignments that have been staying nearby for months like an awful stench and as I compose this article I discover the words are streaming uninhibitedly out of my head. In particular, I have begun to make steps to handling one of the variables I said over (two of them I can't generally do much about, but to surely simply get over them).

So in the event that I was to attract regard for one specific point in this article it would be this: noteworthy change in our lives starts with a choice. "No more" we have to let ourselves know. In the event that we are in agony, disappointed, friendless, chaotic, and so forth… . we have to settle on a choice to change our current circumstance. This is the thing that I did in 2006 when I went to the acknowledgment that I required to deal with my life in the event that I was going to be a father. Furthermore the results have been astounding. Yes, honestly I have been in a bit of a droop recently…  however that is alright…  it happens to every one of us now and then. What is imperative is that I have settled on a choice to change and that I again feel a flame thundering.

Best Haircut for Your Face

Best Haircut for Your Face:

Straight Hair, Round Face
A shoulder-dusting cut with long layers elongates your face. Strong, straight-across bangs enhance cheekbones.

Straight Hair, Square Face
A shoulder-length cut with layers from chin to collarbone softens a strong jaw; sideswept bangs minimize a wide forehead.

 Straight Hair, Heart Face
Try a pixie to play up your eyes and cheekbones. Or a blunt lob (long bob) with a few long layers.

Government Announces Slight Cut in Taxes on Telecom Sector

Government Announces Slight Cut in Taxes on Telecom Sector

Federal government has proposed a slight reduction in taxes on telecom services for the year 2014-15.
According to initial information – based on Mr. Ishaq Dar’s budget speech for 2014-15 – federal government has proposed to reduce withholding tax (WHT) on telecom services from 15 percent to 14 percent.
It maybe recalled that Government had increased WTH from 10 percent to 15 percent last year.
Cellular companies had urged a 5 to 10 percent reduction in WTH.
Moreover, government announced that it will withdraw FED on telecom services from those provinces that have imposed GST on telecom services.
Government has further proposed to reduce GST (General Sales Tax) from current 19.5 percent to 18.5 percent in areas where FED will continue to be collected.
It merits mentioning here that government collects FED (or Federal Excide Duty) from telecom services in shape of GST. Meaning that 19.5 percent GST is actually FED, which will not be called GST in provinces that collect taxes on provincial level.
Just in case if you don’t remember, after National Finance Commission (NFC) Award, Sindh, KPK and Punjab collect GST on provincial levels. Hence FED will be renamed to GST in these provinces.
However, In Capital (Islamabad), Balochistan and GB areas, these taxes are still called FED and hence a tax reduction of 1 percent is proposed for customers in Islamabad, Balochistan and GB areas.
Three provinces may also announce to collect 18.5 percent GST – instead of current 19.5 percent — on telecom services to match tax rate of federal capital, Balochistan and GB. But that will be announced during provincial budgets.

Things to Note:

For those who are unable to understand the technical language and complications from above, there is a reduction of 2 percent in taxes on telecom services.
  • 1 percent tax is reduced for WHT, which will now be 14 percent
  • 1 percent tax is reduced for GST/FED, which will now be 18.5 percent.
  • These tax rates, if approved by the house, will be applicable from July 1st, 2014.

Taxes on Telecom Services Explained

After 1% reduction in withholding tax and 1% reduction in GST/FED, total taxes on telecom services will be 32.5 percent, down from 34.5 percent.
Following is the complete detail of taxes on Telecom services:
  • Withholding Tax: 14 Percent
  • FED/GST: 18.5 Percent
  • Total Taxes: 32.5 percent
Just to add to the misery, all cellular companies are charging around 12 percent services charges. After these charges, total money deducted from cellular services:
  • Taxes: 32.5 Percent
  • Service Charges: 8 Percent (for prepaid only)
  • Total Deduction: 40.5 percent
In simple words, Rs. 59.5 out of Rs. 100 will be be available for airtime usage.

HTC announces the One (E8)

HTC announces the One (E8)

HTC has announced the cheaper version of its flagship, the One (M8) with the announcement of the new One (E8).

The new smartphone by the Taiwanese company borrows a lot of features from the top-end device, although, there are a few fundamental differences.
The display, for one, is same. It’s still a 5″ Super LCD3 panel with 1080p video but the area surrounding it isn’t. Instead of high-class brushed aluminium, the One (E8) opts instead for plastic, which is a disappointment as that was the One’s defining feature.
The One (E8) also brings along dual-sim connectivity. Internals are mostly the same; a beefy quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.5Ghz rather than at 2.3, 2 GB worth RAM and 16 GB of storage, expandable by 128 GB via microSD.
The camera at the back also drops the two UltraPixel units, replacing them with a single 13 megapixel BSI shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording at 30 fps, rather than at 60fps. It is coupled by a LED Flash at the back and a 5 megapixel camera at the front.
For connectivity, HTC has dropped NFC and the IR Blaster, but 4G LTE is still found. Here are the full specifications of the One (E8) again:
  • Customized Android 4.4.2 KitKat
  • 5″ Full HD 1080p display
  • 9.9mm thick
  • 145g heavy
  • 2.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
  • 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage, expandable via microSD
  • 13 megapixel main-camera with 1080p video
  • 5 megapixel Full HD 1080p front camera
  • 2,600 mAh battery
  • Available in Red, Black and White
The phone will be available for $450 in the coming few weeks.

Burq Broadband has announced the commercial launch of its WiFi broadband services in Pakistan to become the first WiFi broadband operator in the country.
Burq is a broadband brand of Argentina based ICONDOR Telecom Group having footprints in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay since the early eighties.
Launch of Burq in Pakistan was officially marked by a brief ceremony held in Argentinean embassy in Islamabad.
Burq is first of its kind Internet Service Provider that offers broadband services to end users through WiFi hotspots that are deployed at various locations. Users will be offered WiFi internet at major markets, outlets, restaurants and bus stops. The number of locations with service availability will naturally increase with time.
Sources told ProPakistani that Burq commercially commenced the WiFi broadband service in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. Moreover, Burq Broadband service is partially available in Bannu, Kohat and D.I.Khan as well.
We were unable to find the details of areas in these cities where Burq services are available. An attempt to contact Burq management went in vain.
Sources tell ProPakistani that Burq Broadband is going to offer time bound and speed bound WiFi broadband services to customers for which scratch cards will be available in the market starting next week.
Customers will be able to load their accounts with scratch cards to use WiFi broadband on Burq’s network.
Burq scratch cards of various denomination will be sold, including Rs. 50, Rs. 100, Rs. 300, Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000.
Speed, validity and amount of time allowed against each card is different. All these limits are explained in below table:

How to Use Burq Broadband

If you are in an area where Burq Broadband is available then it will start appearing in the list of available WiFi networks on your PC/Laptop or smartphone. Simply connect to Burq WiFi network. Upon browsing, you will be asked for user name and password, which you need to enter from the scratch card.
Once the scratch card is authenticated, you will be able to use Burq Broadband till the expiry of the card.
Currently, as per sources, the service availability is in limited area. For instance only Commercial Market is covered in Satellite Town for Rawalpindi, however, we may see service expansion with time. Especially if the feedback and demand from customers get high.
Burq has previously said that it has plans – down the line – to  partner with cellular companies to offer their subscribers the broadband services through WiFi but they will be charged based on their mobile-internet subscriptions.
Data communication over WiFi channels are always preferred when compared with GSM or 3G networks. Similar kind of partnerships are successfully running across various regional and global markets.

PTCL Caps EVO Customers with 30GB Monthly Data Limits

PTCL Caps EVO Customers with 30GB Monthly Data Limits

PTCL has announced that it has capped all its new and old EVO customers with a data limit of 30 GB per month, down from previous data limit of 75GB.
This new data limit is applicable on both Rev.A and Rev.B (EVO and Nitro) devices including EVO Wingle, EVO 9.3, EVO 3.1, EVO Tab and EVO cloud devices.
It must be noted that a data limit of 20GB is applicable for all those customers who are paying less than Rs. 2100 per month, i.e. all those customers who have bought EVO devices against any promotion and are paying lesser than Rs. 2100 rental per month.
These new data limits are applicable from June 1st, 2014.
PTCL has explained that these new data limits will ensure continuous high-speed wireless broadband connectivity at all times and across all geographic terrains and empower customer to achieve more.
However, customers are obviously not happy with this significant slash in the monthly data limits.
PTCL has over one million EVO customers, who enjoy wireless broadband on the go with its EVO services. Majority of these customers use EVO as their primary broadband solution as faulty lines don’t support high-speed DSL broadband.
After these new data limits the situation might not remain the same.
